During our free time in Luxor, we took a cruise on the Nile and then went on a camel safari through some of the villages around town. It was fun to see the non-touristy side of things for once and to chat with our camel-leader, Muhammed.

One of the boats was also named Bob Marley. Seems love and peace are kind of pervasive.
This is me on our overnight train from Luxor to Cairo, on which we slept not at all. Part of the reason was this food...I won't go into details...
