The Rest of the Story...

In the mosque of Muhammed Ali, getting some perspective...
We all look kind of white-faced because we've just seen Tut's body. Yep, the actual mummy. It was soooooo awesome!
On our way down, we visited a kibbutz and stayed for dinner and some good old Jewish merry-making. I was volunteered to get up and sing a solo in Hebrew, which was kind of interesting...with the harsh Hebrew sounds, it was like trying to clear my throat to a melody. Doesn't really lend itself to prettyness. Good thing the Israelis value doing things with gusto more than with talent :).
Mark and I by Mt. Sinai. Dr. Hayes wouldn't let us climb it even though we were clearly recovered from our freak illnesses. We did get to sleep in that morning, though, instead of waking up at 2 to get to the summit for sunrise. Yeah, ok, completely not as cool, but we're working on our optimism.
Kyle, Parker, Jenni and I by the Red Sea. This was taken shortly before I decided to stand on a rock out in the water and watch the tide come in. Which happened to make the rock very slippery. Which happened to cause me to lose my balance and fall off into the water, which the bus driver was not really happy about :(. I look kind of sick in this pictures (mostly because I was). In the background is Saudi Arabia.
