The Everywhere Fieldtrip

Friday we went on a fieldtrip where we went sort of everywhere. We traveled down the Shephelah, which is basically the middle of the country. It was so gorgeous! We saw tels, tombs, and the birth and death places of all kinds of people. We also got to climb through a tiny tunnel to get into a cave underground for a devotional, which was way cool. We seem to find ourselves in lots of caves these days- I haven't been more than a few days without seeing a few since we got here!
One of my favorite spots was the valley where David slew Goliath. We talked about our personal Goliaths and heard some really neat stories before trying our own hand at sling-shots. Turns out I'm a terrible shot. But Kyle and I got pretty into the story and decided to reenact our own rendition...

Kim and I frolicking through the field. We really didn't mean to look this gay...but it was pretty jolly.
