Field Trippin'

This week, we took a few field trips, including one to Jericho, where we saw the ancient city and hiked up to a monastery built into the mountain. Very cool. You can kind of see at the bottom the oldest structure in the world, a tower dating back to 8000 b.c.e.
Madi fit the battle of Jericho and the walls came tumbling down.
This is some of our class in the monastery. It was so interesting and kind of scary the way the it was just clinging on to the side of a sheer cliff!
