The world hates my name

The other day while I was getting a burrito at the Taco Bell on campus (happens all the time), the cashier started getting all chatty with me, really going for Employee of the Month, you know the type, and he started explaining to me the origins of my name. Did you know your name is traditionally a boy's name? he said, and went on telling me the whole deal about a name I've had for 23 years. Yes, thanks, Taco Bell Guy. What would the world be without friendly employees like yourself? MAYBE A WORLD WHERE I GET MY DANG BURRITO FASTER.

The whole conversation reminded me (painfully) of this. Did you know the world hates my name? Hates it as much as the name Destiny? Hates it only slightly less than "Nevaeh", which is "heaven" spelled backwards and really not even a name at all? This means the world hates my name even more than these ones:

Dorcas
Bertha
McKaty
Makynzi
Mc-anything
Kryslyn
Cierra
Brandi
Georgina
La-A (pronounced "Ladasha")
Shithead

Come on, world. Really?
