I'm back!!!!

Hi everybody! So I know it's been forever since I posted, but since I'm in Chicago now, I thought I'd catch up and then keep you updated from now on. Because, you know, my life is so fascinating :).
So here's what I've been up to...
My band "Ro" played Guitar's Unplugged at BYU-Idaho. (You may not have been aware that I am in a hardcore rock band, but it's true.)Me on the giant screen. For the fourth of July, I went to Stadium of Fire in Provo featuring THE Miley Cyrus. I know, I know, you're all jealous. Ok, Grace might actually be jealous. It was a hardcore good time. We also made a fire at Utah Lake. It wasn't the fire that's pictured, however. That fire was lit by a bunch of crazy, illegal firework-setter-offers that invaded our spot. Our fire was a much more modest, marshmallow-roasting type.I also did 2 weeks of EFY this summer and it was so awesome! I loved every minute of it. I had some girls that were a little...interesting...but for the most part, everybody was amazing and I had a great time.
Our group, On the Earth, at games night. We got 2nd place in the cheer-off. Huzzah!2 of my girls.
This is a wonderful little game we counselors like to play after the kids leave, called "Buck Buck". Basically, after establishing a base of 4 or 5 strong young men, everybody precedes to run and jump on their backs, one at a time, three to a level, until the whole pile falls over. I don't know why it's fun, because it's very painful, but we play it a lot!
Now I'm working as a nanny in Oak Park, Illinois, right outside of downtown Chicago. The family has three kids: Tyler, 10, Jared, 6, and Kate, 3. They're pretty cute, kind of crazy, but very fun. The parents are awesome and something of local celebrities. Amy is Fox new's weather lady and she's done all kinds of tv work and stuff. They are also the spokespeople for Body for Life, which is hardcore. It also means that the house is full of supplements and protein powders and not very much real food. I am surviving on PB&J sandwiches so far.
Before I started work, I took a little roadtrip to Nauvoo with my friend from Jerusalem, Chris, and his roommates, Josh and Bryce. It was so awesome! Sorry I don't have more pictures...I stole these ones from Josh. I'll try to put up more.

Inside the Visitor's Center.
We colored hats along with all the other kids and marched in the Children's Parade before the Sunset on the Mississippi show.

This was our hotel room. We had 4 sets of bunk beds, so we made a fort. And it was awesome.

You are such a traveler! Lindsey would be mad jealous about Miley Cyrus. ;) I'm glad you updated, I had no idea you were in Chicago, or a rock band for that matter!
